Regionals isn't hard to place at (at least in Wisconsin) and usually half the people in the event haven't studied at all, and just studying a little can get you 1st or second, or 3rd at worst. Fitness Business Latin America (bimonthly magazine) showing only Business & Finance definitions ( show all 4 definitions) new search. There probably won't be too much math, if any. Make sure you've got a personal finance book to look over, or an investments resource sheet, and study up on terminology. Again, I haven't taken it, but that's what I've heard from other people. Participating teams will be making personal. Obviously it deals with stocks and bonds and all that stuff, but it's also got commodities and government, and various topics. The Virtual Business Personal Finance Challenge encourages FBLA members to test their financial literacy skills. I have it downloaded and have a link, though, if you'd like.Ī lot of the stuff on it overlaps with personal finance, so I'd recommend maybe looking at the one or two personal finance samples out there. There's also a 2013-16 full study guide that's the first full study to include the test, but it's getting less and less easy to find it, at least for me. FBLA’s personal finance course is designed to offer all students a personal finance education regardless of their school’s educational offerings. The securities test only came out a few years ago, so there aren't very many resources, but I assume you've probably found some to study from. I've done Financial Math, Bus Calc, and Personal finance the last three years, and have gone to Nationals in all of them. I haven't taken S & E but I've helped some other people with it, and a couple from my chapter have done it, with 1 going to Nationals last year.
