From a combo-based dual blader to a long-distance gunslinger to a broadsword wielder whose heavy strokes must be timed out perfectly, Relink has something for everyone. Currently, we’ve announced sixteen fighters slated for the Relink roster, each with their own play style and intuitive controls. The heart of Granblue Fantasy lies in its characters. In single-player mode, the CPU controls the other three members of a party, providing vital support. However, that doesn’t mean players will be charging the battlefield alone outside of co-op. In Relink, every enemy and party formation has its own strengths and weaknesses-the key to victory lies in working out how these pieces fit together. The game’s newest trailer showcases just one way in which characters with different skills and weapons can synergize. Granblue Fantasy: Relink is an action RPG where some of the most thrilling combat unfolds during co-op mode, during which up to four players engage in quests and battles together. Through their adventures, the protagonists unveil a web of intrigue reaching far beyond the borders of Zegagrande and engage in a battle for the fate of the Sky Realm itself. In this corner of the world, islands are guarded by powerful creatures known as primal beasts and winds carry tales of a secretive organization known as the Church of Avia. The events of Relink take place in Zegagrande Skydom. Along the way, they meet a colorful cast of characters, adding kings and misfits alike to their ragtag crew. The protagonist, joined by a scrappy little dragon named Vyrn and a young girl with mysterious powers named Lyria, sails for Estalucia, a fabled island beyond the end of the skies. The universe and art have their hooks in me, but I’ll take just about anything with this world minus the gacha mechanics.Granblue Fantasy: Relink takes place in the Sky Realm, where myriad islands float in a great blue expanse. The increase in RPG to PC launches has me a bit over the moon as someone who never leaves their desktop, and it’s still a nightmare to try and buy a PS5. So far, we’ve seen two game modes from the project with the main story promising a single-player adventure and another quest mode that allows you to play with up to four friends. Relink looks a little more my speed as an action RPG, and the expanding roster has me hopeful a couple of other favorites may show up. Last year, Cygames launched Arc System Works developed Granblue Fantasy Versus-a gorgeous fighting game I’m horrible at despite hours of trying. This isn’t Granblue’s first time making the leap from mobile to other platforms, either. You see a bit of her and those other familiar faces in the new teaser from Cygames. Some of those were revealed ages ago, like Katalina, but that doesn’t make me any less excited about seeing her yet again-not to be dramatic, but I would die for the knight lady. The official website revamp also delights those of us still plugging away at Granblue from our browsers or phones, showcasing allies like Katalina, Rackam, Io, Eugen, Rosetta, Rolan, Lancelot, Vane, Percival, Siegfried, Charlotta, Yodarha. Cygames already revealed last year that the PS4 game would also see a new-gen release on PS5, but today’s yearly celebration of the franchise (as reported by Gematsu) promised a 2022 launch globally along with a Steam version. Granblue Fantasy: Relink is no longer a PlayStation-only title. The publisher shared this latest update on Granblue’s action RPG spin-off during Granblue Fantasy Fes, a yearly event for their hit gacha game. Cygames is bringing Granblue Fantasy: Relink to PC via Steam next year, launching worldwide alongside the previously announced PS4 and PS5 versions.
